NAU SAS Building

New construction of a four-story Student & Academic Services (SAS) building on a one-acre site in the middle of NAU’s campus. This building is constructed out of structural steel and has an ACM exterior system. Several offsite utilities, including steam, chilled water and reclaimed water were brought to the site for utilization in the new building. The facility is the new home of a one-stop shop for student services such as admissions, financial aid, registration and orientation; faculty and staff offices; the new Lumberjack Mathematics Center; and a 5,000 SF auditorium with seating capacity for 154 people. An existing parking structure sitting directly adjacent to the building was modified to create a fire barrier between the two structures. This building achieved LEED Gold certification after initially targeting Silver.
